Dr. Sarah Bréant
Dr. Sarah Bréant received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science in East Asian Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Prior to attending medical school, she earned bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Following medical school, she completed a residency focusing on integrative primary care in Taos, New Mexico. Through mentorship, Dr. Bréant has pursued additional training in five element acupuncture, Japanese meridian therapy, biofield tuning, cranial sacral therapy, and Shang Han Lun herbalism.
She uses the intersection of these modalities to offer trauma-informed and patient centered care. Dr. Bréant draws inspiration from her West African Heritage, animistic world view, and the notion that healing emerges when we are in communion with nature and each other. Her spare time is often spent playing in nature, finding creative expression through movement, and exploring somatic experiencing.
